Product Warranty
MZE stands behind the quality of its products and warrants them against manufacturing defects under normal use. Unless otherwise specified, all MZE products carry a 3-year limited warranty from the date of purchase.
This warranty applies only to products used in normal operating conditions and excludes failures caused by:
Improper installation
Misuse or abuse
Vandalism or accidents
Improper storage or handling
Force majeure (e.g., fire, flood, lightning)
Custom-built or special-order switches
MZE is not responsible for labor costs related to product removal or reinstallation, nor any incidental or consequential damages. Upon inspection, MZE will repair, replace, or issue credit for products deemed defective due to manufacturing issues.
Return Material Authorization (RMA)
1. Activation Devices, Locks, and Switches
All returns must be pre-approved with an RMA number. Customers must provide proof of original purchase (invoice or PO number). MZE will then issue a unique RMA number and send a confirmation by email. Returns without an RMA will be refused.
2. Access Control Panels
When purchased through an authorized MZE distributor, system panels must be returned with an RMA number issued by MZE. The RMA document must be enclosed with the return. Failure to follow this process may result in rejection of the claim.
Advance Replacement
At MZE’s discretion, a replacement product may be shipped before receiving the defective unit. The replacement will be invoiced at the standard price, and full credit will be applied upon inspection and confirmation of a valid warranty issue.

RMA numbers are valid for 60 days from the issue date. Items returned after this period may not be accepted or credited.
Shipping Instructions
All returned products must be prepaid by the sender. MZE will not accept collect shipments.
Canada Returns

Returns must include the RMA number clearly marked on the packaging and shipping carton. The RMA confirmation must be attached to the packing slip or waybill.
Repair / Replacement / Credit Process
MZE will inspect all returned items within 10 business days. If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, MZE will repair, replace, or issue credit at our discretion.
Please note:
Custom-made or special-finish products are not eligible for return or credit.
Fully functional products returned under an RMA are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
Products damaged due to incorrect installation, usage, or storage will not be repaired or credited.
